The radii of two rods of the same length...

The radii of two rods of the same length and same material are in the ratio of 1:2. If these rods are twisted by applying the same torsional torque, then find the ratio of the angle of twist produced in the two rods.

`tau=Ctheta=(etapir^(4)theta)/(2l)`
Thus for same `tau,landeta`
`thetaprop(1)/(r^4)`
`thereforetheta_(1):theta_(2)=((r_2)/(r_1))^(4)=((2)/(1))^(4)=16:1`
