A drop of oil placed on the surface of water spreads out. But a drop of water place on oil contracts to a spherical shape. Why ?

When a drop of water is placed on oil, the cohesive force of water moleculer dominate the adhesive force between water and oil molecules. Hence drop of water contracts to a spherical shape.
