The correct Answer is:
C

Heat given out when x grams of steam at `100^(@)C` is converted to water at `100^(@)C`
`H_(1) = 540 x` .......(1)
Heat gained by ice at `0^(@)C` to convert to water at `100^(@)C`
`H_(2) = 80y + y xx 1 xx (100 - 0)`
`H_(2) = 180y` ....(2)
According to principle of calorimetry,
`H_(1) = H_(2)`
`540 x = 180 y`
`(y)/(x) = 3`
