A hollow shell contains non viscous liquid. It rolls purely on an inclined plane. If it is released form the top of the incline, it reaches the bottom with kinetic energy K.
Statement -1 : If liquid freezes and the system is now allowed to roll form same top on the same incline, its kinetic energy on reaching the botton will be less than K.
Statement -2 : If a liquid freezes, it behaves like a rigid body.

A

Statement-1 is true, statement-2 is true and statement-2 is correct explanation of statement-1

B

Statement-1 is false, statement-2 is true.

C

Statement-1 is true, statement-2 is ture and statement-2 is NOT the correct explanation for statement-1.

D

Statement-1 is true, statement-2 is false.
