We know that lymph glands are also called lymph node. They are composed of lymphatic tissue and give rise to special white blood cells and anitibodies. They act as a defence barrier against the spread of infection by engulfing bacteria and other foreign matierals from the lymph. They are not concerned with the formation of RBC.
