Evaporation of liquid is a surface penomenon. More the surface area acailble, more is the evapouation of the liquid Now glucose in=s a non-volatile solute. It occpies certain surgace area of waeter. This means evaporation of wter from the surface gats reduced and its vapour presnece also gets lowerd.
