Depression in freezing point temperature `(DeltaT_(f))` is a colligative progative propety and it depends upon the number of the particles of the solute in the solution.Sodium chloride (NaCL) being a strong electrolyte almost completely dissociates in aqueous solution into ions. On the other hand, glucose `(C_(6)H_(12)O_(6))` being a molecular solid remains as such. Therefore. depresssion in freezing point in sodium chlution is expected to be twice as compered to glucose solution.
