(a) The presence of hydrogen bonding between `gt C = O` group and H atom of `H-underset(H)underset(|)(N)-` group in adjecent positions stabilises the `alpha`-helix structure of proteins.
(b) A combination of base and sugar is known as nucleoside while a combination of base, sugar and phosphates results in nucleoside.
