By volume, noble gases are about 1/120th of the volume of air. Therefore 1L (or 1000mL) of air by passing over heated copper (to remove `O_(2)`), heated magnesium (to remove `N_(2)` - and also `O_(2)`) will give a mixture of noble gases as residue which will be nearly 10 mL (1000 mL `divided` 120).
