If 2, a, b, c d, e, f and 65 form and A.P., find the value of e.

Here , `T_(1)=2, T_(8)=65, T_(6)=e`
Let the common difference be D
`T_(8)=65 rArr T_(1)+(8-1)D=65`
`rArr 2+7D=65 rArr D=9`
`:. E=T_(6)=T_(1)+(6-1)D=2+5(9)=47`
Hence, the value of e is 47.
