(i) Given linear equation in fahrenheit and celsius is
`F=(9/5)C+32 rArr 5F-9C=160`
Here we follow the follwing table:

Now plot the points A(0,32),B(-160)/(9),0) and C(-40,-40) in the graph paper and join all these points to form a line AB.

(ii) If temperature is `30^(@)C i.e C=30^(@)C`.
Then from eq (1) we get `f=(9)/(5)xx30+32=9xx6+32 =54+32=86`
Temperature in fahrenheit = `86^(@)`F
(iii)If temperature is `95^(@)C "i.e" F= 95^(@)F`
Then , from eq (I) we get `F=(9)/(5)xx0+32=31`
Temperature in fahrenheit=`32^(@)F`
If the temperature is `0^(@)F` i.e F=0
Then from eq (i) w get `5xx0-9c=160`
`C=(-160)/(9)=-17.8^(@)C`(approx)
Temperature in celsius = `-17.8^(@)C`
(v) Yes if we take both temperatures equal i.e C=F Now from eq (1) we get
`F=(9)/(5)C+32`
`F=(9)/(5)F+32`
5F=9F+160
F=`-40^(@)`
F=C=`-40^(@)`
