Given : A cyclic quadrilateral `ABCD` in which `AD =BC`.
To prove: `AC=BD`
Proof : `Because` `AD = BC`, arc `AD` = arc `BC`
Add arc `DC` on both sides.
arc `AD` + arc `DC` = arc `BC` + arc `DC`
`arc ADC = arc BCD`
`AC=BD`
