A godown measures 40\ m\ xx\ 25\ m\ xx\ ...

A godown measures `40\ m\ xx\ 25\ m\ xx\ 10\ m`. Find the maximum number of wooden crates each measuring `1. 5\ m\ xx\ 1. 25\ m\ xx\ 0. 5\ m`that can be stored in the godown.

Length of godown (l) = 40m
Breadth of godown (b) = 25m
and height of godown (h) = 10 m
`therefore` Volume of godown, V = lbh
`= 40xx25xx10 m^(3)`
Similarly, volume of each cubodial creates `=1.5xx1.25xx0.5 m^(3)`
Thus, number of wooden creates that be stored
`=("Volume of godown")/("Volume of each cuboid create")`
`=(40xx25xx10)/(1.5xx1.25xx0.5)=(10000)/(0.9375)`
`=(10000xx10000)/(9375)=(100000000)/(9375)`
`=10666.66=10666`
