The height and radius of the base of a r...

The height and radius of the base of a right circular cylinder is 'r'. Find its totalsurface area.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here, height = radius = r cm
`therefore` Total surface area of cylinder `=2pi r(h+r)`
`=2pi r(r+r)`
`=4pi r^(2) cm^(2)`
