Find the ratio of the surface of a sphere and total surface area of a hemisphere.

Let radius of sphere = r
`therefore` Surface sphere `= 4pi r^(2)`
and total surface area of hemisphere `= 3pi r^(2)`
Now, `("surface of sphere")/("total surface area of hemisphere")=(4pi r^(2))/(3pi r^(2))=(4)/(3)= 4 : 3`
