Why is hydrogen peroxide stored in wax lined bottles?

Rough surface causes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Wax linked surface is smooth and soft and it checks its decomposition. Therefore, hydrogen is usually kept in wax linked bottles, preferably in polythene bottles.
