What is hydride gap?

Explanation

Transition metals of group 3,4 and 5 from metallic hydrides. In group 6, chromium also form a hydride. Then there is a gap as te metals belonging to groups 7,8 and 9 do not form any hydrides. The gap is known as hydrides gap.
