From gauss' law, the electric flux through an enclosed surface is given by `oint_(S)E.dS=(q)/(epsi_(0))`
Now, the net charge on a dipole is given by -q+q=0
`therefore` Electric flux through a surface enclosing a dipole `=(-q+q)/(epsi_(0))=(0)/(epsi_(0))=0`
