A plane wavefront is incident at an angle of `37^(@)` with horizontal a boundary of refractive medium from air `(mu=1)` to a medium of refractive index `mu=3/2`. Find the angle of refracted wavefront with horizontal

It has been given that incident wavefront makes `37^(@)` with horizontal . Hence incident ray makes `37^(@)` with normal as the ray is perpendicular to the wavefront .
Now, by Snell.s law, `(sin 37^(@))/(sin r) = (3)/(2)`
sin , ` r = (2)/(3)xx(3)/(5)=(2)/(5)`
`r = sin^(-1)((2)/(5))` which is same as angle of refraction of wavefront with horizontal .
