The density of a cube is measured by measuring its mass and the length of its sides. If the maximum errors in the measurement of mass and length are `3% and 2%`, respectively, then find the maximum error in the measurement of the density of cube.

Here `(DeltaM)/(M) xx 100 = 3%, (Delta L)/(L) xx 100 = 2%`
Density `d= (M)/(V)=(Mass(M))/(Length(L^(3)))=(M)/(L^(3))`
Maximum error in the measurement of density
`(Deltad)/(d) xx 100= (DeltaM)/(M) xx 100+3(DeltaL)/(L) xx 100`
`=3+(3 xx 2)=3+6=9%`
`therefore` Maximum error in the measurement of density=9%
