Let order respect to A and B are `alpha and beta` respectively. Rate law expression may be given as.
`"Rate "=k[A]^(alpha)[B]^(beta)`
`0.05=k[0.1]^(alpha)[0.2]^(beta)" " ....(i)`
`0.10=k[0.2]^(alpha)[0.2]^(beta)" " ....(ii)`
`0.05=k[0.1]^(alpha)[0.1]^(beta)" " ....(iii)`
Divding eq. (i) by eq. (ii), we get
`(1)/(2)=[(1)/(2)],i.e., alpha=1`
Dividing eq. (i), (iii), we get
`1=[2]^(beta),i.e.,beta=0`
Rate `k=[A]^(1)[B]^(0)`
Substituting the value of `alpha and beta` in eq. (i), we get
`0.05=k[0.1]^(1)]0.2]^(0)`
`k=0.5sec^(-1)`
