A

Increase in aldosterone levels cause an increase in sodium reabsorption in DCT. It is secreted by outer layer of adrenal gland when aldosterone is present in the blood and all the `Na^(+)` ions in the filterate are reabsorbed. Retaining `Na^(+)` raises the osmotic pressure of the blood and reducse the water loss from the body.
