(b) All acids have atlest one or more hydrogen atoms present in their molecules. They release the same in aqueous solution as `H^(+)` ions. The `H^(+)` ion as such is unstable and exist in combination with a molecule of `H_(2)O` and is known as hydronium ion `(H_(3)O^(+)ion).`
