Text Solution

Refractive index,
`mu=("velocity of light in vacuum")/("velocity of light in medium")`
Since `mu` is dimensionless, hence `(B)/(lambda^(2))` is dimensionless.
`therefore` Dimension of B will have the dimension of `lambda^(2)`. Hence B has a dimension of area.
