Area of a square is `(100+-2)m^(2)` Determine its side.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let side of square be a then area `=a^(2)=(100+-2)m^(2) because` error in `a^(2)` is `2%` so error in a will be 1% Hence `a=(10+-0.1)m`
