If the value of drift speed of electrons inside a conduct is very low , can we measure it with the help of a microscope ?

Text Solution

No, Drift speed is a theoretical concept it indicates the average speed with which the electrons start drifing opposite to the direction of the `vec(E)` field. But remember that the actual speed of electrons is so high and random that is almost impossible to loacte an electron inside a conductor.
