An umbrella has `8` ribs which are equally spaced. Assuming umbrella to be a flat circle of radius `45` cm, find the area between the two consecutive ribs of the umbrella.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

given that `r=45cm`
`theta= 360/8`
area of sector`= theta/360 pi r^2`
`= 360/8*1/360*22/7*45*45 cm^2`
`= 2025*11/28`
`= 22275/28 = 795.54 cm^2`
