Conditional reflexes were first demonstrated by a Russian physiologist I Pavlov (1929). He conducted 'Bell experiment on dog'. He rang a bell every time he offered food to a dog, finally he noticed that merely ringing bell can substitute sight or smell of food o initiate salivation.
