Enlist the rules for drawing ray diagrams of convex lens.

Following are the rules for obtaining images by convex lens.

Rule (i): When the incident ray is parallel to the principal axis, the refracted ray passes through principal focus `(F_(2) )`.

Rule (ii): When the incident ray passes through the principal focus `(F_(1))` , the refracted ray is parallel to the principal axis.

Rule (iiii): When the incident ray passes through the optical centre of the lens it passes without changing its direction.
