The position of a particle along x-axis ...

The position of a particle along x-axis at time t is given by `x=1-t+t^(2)`. The distance travelled by the particle (in 'm') in first 2 seconds is 's'. Fill '2s' in OME sheet.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`x=1-t+t^(2)`
`v=-1+2t=0`
`therefore t=(1)/(2)`
`x_(0)=1, x_(1//2)=3//4rArr 1//4`
`x_(2)=3rArr 9//4`
`s=2.5`
