In the dihybrid cross the phenotype round yellow, wrinked round green and wrinkled green appeared in the `9 : 3 : 3 : 1` ratio.
From the dihybrid cross 'law of independent assortment' can be derived which states that when two pairs of traits are combined in a hybrid, segregation of one pair of characters is independent of the other pairs of characters.
