Tobacco in any form is injurious to health because :
1. Smoking of tobacco is associated with cancers of lung, urinary bladder, throat and lungs, bronchitis, coronary heart disease, gastric ulcer etc.
2. Oral cancer is mostly due to chewing of tobacco, etc.
3. Nicotine, the main constituent of tobacco stimulates adrenal gland to release adrenaline and nor-adrenaline into blood which raise the blood pressure and mcreases heart beat.
