Mention the reasons for difference in ploidy of zygote and primary endosperm nucleus in an angiosperm.

A Zygote is formed by the fusion of haploid male gamete with the haploid egg to form a diploid eel, where as, Primary Endosperm Nucleus (PEN) is formed by the fusion of haploid male gamete with two haploid polar nuclei, producing a triploid nucleus.
