a) Another interesting observations supporting evolution by natural selection comes from England. In a collection of moths made in 1850s i.e., before industrilisation set in it was observed that, there was white-wings moths on trees than dark-winged or melanised observed that, there were more white-winges moths on trees than dark-winged or melanised moths. However, in the collection carried out from the same area, but after industrialisation, i.e., in 1920, there were more dark-winged moths in the same area, i.e., the proportion was reversed.
b) During his journcy, Darwin went to Galapagos Islands. There he closed an amazing diversity of creatures. Of particular interest, small blacklish later called Darwin's Finches amaxed him. He realised that there were al varieties of finches in the same island. All the varieties, he conjection evolved on the island itself. From the original seed-eating features and other forms with altered breaks arose, enabling them to become insection and vegetarian finches. This process of evolution of different species in a given geographical area starting from a point and literally radiating to other areas of geography (habitats) is called adaptive radiations.
