Differentiate between outbreeding and outcrossing.

Outbreeding- (i) it is breeding of unrelated animals. It can involve outcrossing or cross breeding or interspecfic hybridisation.
(ii) Eg : Hisardale sheep developed by crossing bikaneri ewes and marine rams.
Outcrossing - (i) It is mating of animals within the same breed but having no common ancestors upto-4-6 generations.
It is the best method to overcome in breeding depression and to increase milk productivity in milch cattle.
