Write any two ways how genetically modified plants are found to be useful.

Plants, bacteria, fungi and animals whose genes have been modified by techniques of genetic engineering are called Genetically Modifed Organisms. Genetically modified plants are found useful in the following two ways:
(i) Made crops more tolerant to abiotic stresses (cold, drought, salt, heat).
(ii) enhanced nutritional value of food eg : Vitamin 'A' enriched rice.
