Glucagon is a polypeptide hormone secreted from `alpha` cells of Islets of Langerhans of pancreas.
Function : Glucagon stimulates glycogenolysis in liver. As a result, glucose level increases in blood. It also stimulates neoglucogenisis in liver to convert amino acid to glucose.
