Thyroid is a bilobed gland situated at the root of the throat of the 2nd , 3rd and 4th tracheal rings. It secretes `T_(4)` and `T_(3)` hormone.
Parathyroid are tow paired small oval shaped yellowish brown gland, each pair is attached in the posterior surface of thyroid lobe. IT secretes parathormone.
