Insulin is secreted from the `beta`-cells of islets of Langerhans. It is a protein hormone. It helps in the absorption of glucose from intestine.
Glucagon is secreted is secreted from the `alpha`-cells of islets of Langerhans. The function of glucagon is just opposite to that of insulin.
