Mention any two conditions that enhance the chances of syngamy in organisms exhibiting external fertilization.

(i) Organisms exhibiting external fertilization show great synchrony between the sexes and release a large no. of gametes into the surrounding medium waters in order to enhance the chances of syngamy.
(ii) This happens in the bony fishes, algae and frogs where a large no. of offsprings are produced.
