List any two types of IUDs that are available for human females and state their mode of action.

Cu T (copper releasing IUD's) and progestasert (hormone releasing). Their mode of action :
(i) Cu ions release suppress sperm motility and fertilising capacity of sperms.
(ii) The hormone releasing IUD's make the uterus unsuitable for implantation and the cervix hostile to the sperms.
