Though table salt is not deliquescent but it gets wet in rainy season - Explain.

Text Solution

Pure NaCl is not deliquescent but table salt contains impurities like `MgCl_2 and `CaCl_2`. These impurities being deliquescent absorb moisture from air in the rainy season. As a result, table salt gets wet.
