Determine th eequivalent masses of Na(2)...

Determine th eequivalent masses of `Na_(2)S_(2)O_(3).5H_(2)O and KBrO_(3)`in the following reaction.
`BrO_(3)^(-)+6H^(+)+6etoBr^(-)+3H_(2)O`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

This reaction produce `Br^(-)` from `(BrO_(3)^(-)`.In the reduction of each molecule of `KBrO_(3)`.6 electron are accepted .
In the given recation ,equivalent mass of `KBrO_(3)`
