B

Freon 12 is manufactured by Samarts reaction

C

`CHCl_(3)` is stored in closed ,dark coloured botties

The correct Answer is:
A

de-hydrobromination of 2 bromopentane will not give pen- 1 ene as major product because elemination of 2-bromopentane follow Saytzeff.s rule and give pent - 2 - ene as major product . Some pent-1-ene also form according to Hofmann rule :
`CH_(3)-CH_(2)-CH_(2)- underset(Br)underset(|)(CH)-CH_(3)`
`CH_(3) - CH_(2) - CH_(2) -underset(Br)underset(|)(CH)- CH_(3)`
