The displacement of a particle is directly proportional to the third power of time. What will be the nature of acceleration of the particle?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

s = `kt^(3),` where k = constant
`:. (ds)/(dt) = 3 kt^(2)` and acceleration a = `(d^(2)s)/(dt^(2))=6` kt
hence a `prop`t
So the acceleration of the particle is directly proportional to time t.
