If `|vecA| ne |vecB|`, then is it possible that `vecA +vecB =0` ? Explain.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

if `vecA+vecB=0 or, vecA=-vecB`, it means that `vecA and vecB` are equal in magnitude, but opposite in direction . But it is given that `|vecA| ne|vecB|` , i.e., magnitudes are not equal. So, `vecA+vecB ne 0`.
