A man with a bucket of water in his hand is standing inside a lift moving upwards. Write
(ii) whether the energy of the bucket remains unchanged.

Height of the bucket of water , with respect to the ground , increases as the lift moves up . So the potential energy of the bucket increases. Hence, the total energy of the bucket increases.
