Height of the vertex of an inclined plane is h . From the vertex , a body is released along the inclined plane . Explain whether the kinetic energy of the body at the base of the inclined plane depends on the inclination.

Let m= mass of the body.
Hence, kinetic energy of the body at the base of the inclined plane =its potential energy at the vertex of the inclined plane = mgh.
Hence, the kinetic energy at the base depends on the height of the vertex h of the inclined plane, but not on the inclination.
