if the force applied on an object is 5N ...

if the force applied on an object is 5N and the power expended by it 20W , what is the velocity of the object ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

If the velocity v of the object and the force F acting on it are in the same direction , then the power expended is ,P=Fv . Here ,P=20 W, F =5N.
`therefore v=P/F=(20)/(5)=4m*s^(-1)`
