Let the mass of the sun be `M_0` distance of the earth from the sun r, and the time period of the earth around the sun T.
`therefore` Mass of the sun,
`M_0=(4pi^2r^3)/(GT^2)`
`=(4xxpi^2xx(1.49xx10^(13))^3)/(6.67xx10^(-8)xx(365xx24xx60xx60)^2) = 2xx10^(33)g=2xx10^(30)kg.`
